‘No Choice’ to run at Bangalore Int’l Film Festival

Reza Dormishian’s ‘No Choice’ is to vie at the 13th Bangalore Int'l Film Festival (BIFFes) in India.

Reza Dormishian’s latest star-studded movie ‘No Choice’ is to make a new global appearance at the 13th Bangalore International Film Festival (BIFFes) in India.

‘No Choice’, which counts as Dormishian’s fifth movie, is about women and their issues in the society.

The flick was previously screened at the 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival in Japan, the 16th Thrissur International Film Festival in India and the 19th Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) in India.

On April 1-12, 2021, ‘No Choice’ will also go on screen at the 45th Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF45).

It is also the winner of the Best Film, the Best Audience, and the Best NETPAC awards of the 21st edition of the Asiatica Film Festival in Italy.

The flick has been said to be filmed in various locations in the Iranian capital of Tehran.

Fatemeh Motamed-AryaNegar JavaherianParsa PirouzfarHomayoun ErshadiParivash Nazariyeh and Zhaleh Olov are some of the stars that have appeared in the film.

Iranian maestro Kayhan Kalhor has composed the soundtrack for ‘No Choice’.

Organized by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy for the Government of Karnataka, the BIFFes will host various forums for academic interactions / discourse on the different aspects of filmmaking.

The 2021 Bangalore filmfest is scheduled to be held on March 24 to 31.
